Strengthening Collaboration: Delegation from KsTU Visits Warsaw University Of Life Sciences

A delegation from Kumasi Technical University (KsTU), led by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gabriel Dwomoh, visited the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) from March 22nd - 26th 2024. The purpose of the visit was to explore opportunities for strengthening cooperation within academic programmes and on European projects, particularly under the Erasmus+ Exchange Mobility programme.

During their visit, the KsTU delegation participated in the graduation ceremony for veterinary medicine students at SGGW. They also held productive meetings with various departments at SGGW, including the International Cooperation Office, the Doctoral School, the Institute of Economics and Finance, the Institute of Management, and the Institute of Environmental Engineering.

The discussions focused on exploring possibilities for expanding the already existing collaborative efforts in teaching and research between the two universities. The delegation also met with SGGW Rector, Professor Michał Zasada, to discuss the overall direction of the partnership.

KsTU has been a partner of SGGW in the Erasmus+ programme since 2023. This visit signifies the commitment of both universities to further develop this strategic partnership and foster academic exchange between Ghana and Poland.

Accompanying the Vice-Chancellor were Mr. Ebenezer Kofi Boakye (Registrar of KsTU), Prof. Sarfo Mensah (Director of the Office of International Affairs and Institutional Linkages) and Dr. Addo Koranteng (Vice Dean of the Office of International Affairs and Institutional Linkages).
